While The Corrymeela Podcast claims to explore issues of Irishness and Britishness, that seems to sell short the work it’s actually doing. Yes, through conversations with (mostly) Irish or British guests, Pádraig Ó Tuama does present many perspectives on the political history and sectarian...Read full review »

this is a show about irishness and britishness, but i’ve learned more from this podcast on how one might approach our divided moment in american politics more than any other. if you want to hear people talk about what transformation, communication and reconciliation really mean based on their own...Read full review »

Padraig is a very skilled and thoughtful interviewer, who attracts guests who move the complex and storied history of the Irish and UK relationship forward in smart and insightful ways.

I left Northern Ireland in 1994 aged 18. Although I still have family there these podcasts have shown me windows into modern Northern Ireland that I don’t remember as a young man with my eyes set on elsewhere. I’ve loved their positivity, insight, ideas, analysis, heartfelt views and stories....Read full review »

The discussion with Anthony Reddie is possibly my all time favourite podcast. Its an insightful, liberating, healing listen - after all the distress separation and polarisation that was Brexit. Thank-you for the insights, the generous open conversations, bringing the heart and head together, and...Read full review »

This is about so much more than politics, history, art, and theology. Or maybe the whole of life is encompassed in those four things as sites of encounters good and encounters tough. I’m listening to people tell their stories about some very specific topics I know hardly anything about, yet I...Read full review »

I love everything Padraig does because he does it with grace and poetry and a gentle spirit. Sometimes I forget the podcast is about Brexit and Irish/English identity because so far it’s also about people finding their voice and making their home. There’s so much here for everyone.
