5 years later, Layla and I sit down again to discuss all the incredible changes and shifts that have taken place in her life. From motherhood, to nutrition and intuitive eating, Layla and I spoke about how important it is to eat according to the season of life that we are in. Last time her and I spoke at the end of 2019, she was pregnant with her first baby. Now, mother of two, Layla talks about the postpartum blues, how important it is to be disciplined at home when it comes to food and how she chooses to nourish her daughters. There’s so much information out there in terms of what foods to eat and not eat. However, one key thing Layla mentions in this episode is that we need to move beyond just labelling foods as good and bad.What works for one person will not work for another. What is healthy for one person might be poison for another.
