The guy who goes by “Dr. Z” really doesn’t have a clue. He makes Game of Thrones references when discussing great works of cinema, it’s so cringe. Please, you are not smart enough to be doing this, that’s not your fault but someone needs to tell you that!

Listened to the episode on Personal Shopper looking for some perspective and found nothing resembling analysis or thoughtful critique.

This is definitely a great podcast. The hosts are knowledgeable and enjoyable to listen to. A large number of the films covered are less well known which is pretty unique.

If you like movies, you should listen to these guys. They normally review from the criterion collection but they also take some nice detours (like their Sandlot podcast, wich I loved). You'll have something cool to listen each thursday, so sobscribe.

The thing I like the most is their banter. It makes movies that I grew up watching take on a whole new life. Really refreshing!

I happen to know the guys from this show but even if I didn't this would still be my go to film podcast. Hilarious but not forced they take you on an adventure through movie buffland few have the guts to explore. They do not shy away from some of the most cringe worthy films ever made but...Read full review »

The Criterion Correction, hosted by Ed & Dr. Zed, is one part insightful commentary, one part nerdy banter, and one part wholesome snark. The selection of movies is vast and variable, with fair distribution of coverage for new releases and old favorites alike. Sometimes the movies are good -...Read full review »

Ed and Dr. Zed are a truly delightful combo. Delivering just the right mix of fun, information, and tongue-in-cheek humor. I have a new perspective on movies that I have seen in the past and written off as "odd ball" or just plain "weird" from listening to them. You wont be sorry...Read full review »

I have listened to episodes where I haven't even seen the film and been interested in what they...Read full review »

Ed and Dr. Zed make up my favorite podcast! I truly enjoy listening to them wade through The Criterion Collection, deciding whether to collect them all or not at all. Their banter is fun, they provide an in-depth analysis of each film they cover. Despite my not seeing each film they have...Read full review »

They focus on whether the film is politically correct and on other films that are similar - very unfunny, unlikeable, and pointless.

Ed and Dr. Zed (whose first name changes every week) have been getting better and better as they go on. They have a good handle on discussion of the films with just enough banter. The sound quality of the podcast has become quite good too. So, do all these films belong in the Criterion...Read full review »
