That Scott has some hot takes!

This podcast comment is brought to you by Blue Apron. Blue Apron, just like IKEA, but for your tummy. Mad Max and Scottie 2 Hottie are more entertaining than the movies themselves. Love the banter, love the takes, love the Tuscan-style roasted pork. I stopped watching Dinner and a Movie on TBS...Read full review »

I'm so happy I found this pod. Scoots and Max do a great job of elevating a normal conversation on a movie you've likely scene (but probably haven't heard much about) from your regular babblings with friends to a sophisticated level that skirts pretension. It's a great listen.

I love a sack full of hot takes and Scott is the Santa Claus of hot takes. Listen every day and it is like every day is Christmas.

This podcast is fun to listen to on a drive or on a long walk. It helps to have seen the film being discussed in an episode fairly recently, but if not, the breakdown from the hosts definitely makes you want to rewatch right away.

This podcast is a really clever idea and these guys execute it well. They're fun to listen to and I really look forward to each episode, especially when a movie I like is coming up. The special episodes are great too, a nice way to mix things up between RT percentages. I recommend this podcast to...Read full review »

These reviews are amazing and so spot on. They are not only hilarious but they always seem to bring up points in the movie I never thought twice about. It is the perfect breakdown. I have found my new favorite podcast!!

The days I go between listening to this podcast are empty and devoid of meaning.

This podcast is too funny. I stumbled upon it not long ago and listened to the whole backlog, can't get enough. Scott is too funny, his fake ads are a riot. Keep up the good work!

This podcast is more than just two guys making fun of bad movies. Scott and Max clearly know their stuff, and provide a lot of insight and perspective from other, better films. Don't expect them to stay on topic all the time, just embrace the tangents! Fun and easy listening.

The Critical Breakdown is a super fun podcast! I enjoy tuning in to hear Max and Scott's banter. You can tell they are well informed on the subject and have a real passion for film! This podcast is hilarious and I can't wait for more!!

I don't have time for many pods, I make time for this one. Hilarious, well informed, current. I wish my real friends were this funny. Looking forward to the guys watching the good movies.

Scott awesome faux invites and commercials always make me laugh out loud. Max has a very insightful and analytical view on movies and the film making process. While Scott too has some film knowledge he definitely has more of a knack for comedic commentary. Love to be on the Pod. Gimme a call and...Read full review »

The hosts take us on a journey through some of the worst that cinema has to offer. Entertaining discussions from people that really know how to eviserate garbage films. Well worth adding to your podcast rotation!

Haven’t listened to any of the episodes on really bad movies yet, but this one was very enjoyable. Good chemistry between the hosts. Not a lot of stepping all over each other. I only wish it were a little louder with a little better audio.

There is something endearing about listening to people wallow in critically panned films - like a self inflicted torture- so much schadenfreude.
MisterJuanMiguel via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/01/16
Great concept to talk about low rated rotten tomatoes movies. Great way to analyze either a series (xmen) or just an individal movie.

Its a new podcast but you can tell how much time and effort has been put into it. I really enjoyed it, keep up the good work.

Although they bashed the HELL out of my childhood favorite movie (Master of Disguise—must really be a Miller thing), this is an awesome podcast. These guys bring a whole new level of funny to critiquing film. Keep it up, guys!

I couldn’t fathom at starting with the worst reviewed movies, but they did! This is a fun show that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s definitely 100% Fresh.

I don't know anyone who will willing work through the list, but these guys do it and they do it well. If you like movies, especially movies that aren't so great, these guys will endure the pain for you.

This podcast is great for people who wanna hear about crappy movies. Their chemistry works for the show and they seem to enjoy what they do. There is a lack of editing though which is a drawback, it's still a good listen for an hour.
Ffthhgjbz via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/04/16
Max and Scott do a great job of breaking down the worst movies by rotten tomato rating. They do so with pure glee and no pretension. It's a blast to listen too!

Great podcast, got in at the 2nd episode. Hoping you guys make a lot more content. Also liked your write up on the star wars TFA extras and the Summer movie predictions!

If you are a movie lover of any kind, or you just enjoy hilarious banter between two knowledgable guys, this is a great podcast to subscribe to. Had me laughing out loud. You'll walk away with more movie knowledge than you know what to do with.

I love the concept of this show! Only two episodes in and I can tell this is definitely worth listening to. The discussion is already hilarious and it's only going to get better and better as they make their way up the percentage list on Rotten Tomatoes. Definitely worth your time!

These buddies provide a humorous take on movies with Rotten Tomatoes ratings from 0% up to 100%. They are reviewing the ridiculous so we don't have to waste our time watching them. These goons had me laughin good. I remember taking Matty to see Mac and Me, and then I took his brother Gordy to see Master of Disguise years later. Matty and me don’t talk much now, but I managed to laugh about Mac and Me some. Master of Disguise, I’ll never watch again. Feel bad for these dodos...Read full review »

Max and Scott take an honest and funny approach to movie reviews. Even reviewing famously bad movies, they attempt to find things they like about them. I can't wait to hear more from them. I'm very happy I found this podcast and I have subscribed!

I’m glad I stumbled across this podcast. It’s great to hear about movies from regular, funny guys who don’t bore you with film score snobbery. Looking forward to working our way up the RT list.

Killer show! These guys are funny, and get lost in the weeds about entertaining yet weird subjects. Scott's dulcet tones are enough to make me subscribe.
