“I'm a teacher in her 30s and find "The Crunch" to be a refreshing take on current-day Catholicism. I first heard of Ethan and Pat on another podcat ("The Catholic Hipster Podcast") and was able to listen to 4 months' worth of podcasts in about two-weeks' time. Their language and understanding of Catholic teaching is relatable, understandable, and holds a depth I did not initially expect.
Their first episodes are on Soundcloud, which is the only negative thing I can say about this (and some of the sound quality, which improved, so I can't take off a star for kinks they started out with); one of my favorite episodes is on SC.
They make me want to go to a Catholic conference more than ever, make me laugh with their college male ways of thinking, and make me reconsider how I praise God.”Read full review »
