“I found this podcast searching for an in-depth look at Frank Shaw's Gargoyle (The NASA Gargoyle Incident) because it was one of the more curious and interesting stories I'd read in awhile, and I was not disappointed! I enjoyed every moment of that episode, and it got my hooked until Id listened to the entire catalogue of episodes.
For ease, I listen mainly on Youtube, because I am disabled and what little earnings I make are through commissioned art online, so I spend a lot of time at the computer and am always looking for something to listen to while I work on my designs; I have found that this series really keeps me engaged and interested, and focused on my work. The banter between the guys reminds me of sitting out on the front porch talking with my brothers on balmy Indiana nights (We have a lot of cryptid stories as well as local ghost stories, there. Indiana is full of woodland and wetlands, so there's a lot of fuel for stories. I actually saw a Bigfoot once with a couple of other people, but I digress.)
On a more sentimental note: I developed schizophrenia in my early twenties, and part of my disorder is that I have an irriational fear of monsters. Listening to this podcast has actually helped me think of those things more critically, and more scientifically, and has helped me, if not get over the fear, at least my paranoia about it isn't so high anymore. I hope that doesn't sound too crazy, but I really do enjoy all that you do, and I look forward to listening to more amazing stories from around the world (and Rob's right, plants have feelings, so there.)”Read full review »
