This podcast has not only deepened my love for Lewis and his oeuvre but also for history, language literature as well my love as for the Creator of them all. There is still so much to discover and learn and appreciate.

I really enjoyed this week’s episode with the interview of Ruth Jackson from 2021. It was interesting to hear how she started the podcast and her connection with Alister McGrath. I can’t wait to go back and listen to the early episodes, especially when they discuss Mere Christianity! Thanks Ruth....Read full review »

Wonderful podcast. Alastair McGrath is so knowledgeable and explains things well. The guests they have are a great contribution and very interesting.

This is a frustrating podcast. Alister seems to be going out of his way to not come down on any side, which makes this a very tedious and boring listen. I was initially excited to listen to a podcast about my favourite books, but my soul died a little bit every time Alister said “Unfortunately,...Read full review »

I’m really enjoying this show. I didn’t know that much about CS Lewis when I started listening, but this podcast has really helped me get into his work and I’m loving it. Thank you so much Ruth and Alister, I’m a huge fan of the show.

I feel this is very strong on CSL’s theology and Narnia, less strong on his other work. It has been quite dismissive of his writing on literature, which is actually well worth reading. It dismissed his work on 16th century English literature as ‘a big dull book’! I’ve always really enjoyed the...Read full review »

I agree with the podcast’s analysis on how C.S Lewis’s beliefs effected the story. I agree because after C.S Lewis’s beliefs were made clear I could better see why and how the aliens culture and beliefs came about as well as Ransoms.

I am a 72 yo chagrined possessor of so many failures and faults, …. So undeserving of God’s consideration. But that doesn’t stop Him and doesn’t interfere w His provision. Thank you for wonderful interview. Delighted to see many more podcasts waiting. As well as web site! Very many thanks. Mary Ann

I just found this podcast after a random salesperson mentions C. S. Lewis to me. “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” Thank you!

Hello from the Philippines! This is a fantastic podcast. I enjoy all the bite sized learnings from each episode which trickle into the practical and pragmatic application of Lewis’ consistent motif: mere Christianity. Thank you 100 times over for making this podcast!

Really brilliant! I liked the length, but really wished for more from both speakers! You can tell they both love what they’re speaking on; it’s an enthusiasm that was evident to the “God bless you” at the end. Please never end this work!

Really interesting podcasts. You only only get a great overview of who C.S. Lewis was, but moreover it makes you think about God and the different narratives in life. How am I going to tell the story of God?

I read Mere Christianity subsequently after coming to Christ and, being very sentimental, I’m super stoked for this podcast. First episode and it’s already amazing!!! There’s no doubt I’ll be regularly listening!

Wow! One episode in and I’m hooked. Can’t wait for the next one. I’m a huge CS Lewis fan in the USA. I’m an Episcopalian, so I love that CS Lewis was an Anglican.
