Description
Richard Moore, Lionel Birnie and Daniel Friebe meet at Vermuteria in London's Kings Cross to discuss the implications of the crash which will keep four-time Tour de France winner Chris Froome of this year's race. Daniel was at the Critérium du Dauphiné when Froome crashed and he explains what happened and how it will affect Team Ineos at the Tour. Froome was not the only high-profile crash victim this week. Defending Tour champion Geraint Thomas added to Team Ineos's woes when he fell at the Tour of Switzerland and although the Welshman is expected to be fit to start the Tour we assess the impact on the team's chances of winning the race. And what of Tom Dumoulin, who withdrew from the Dauphiné? Does all this mean that Astana's Jakob Fuglsang will start the Tour as the unlikely favourite?
