Old friends that you would not like if you met them now
I have been a friend of the podcast for many years and have fond memories of Richard and huge respect for what Daniel and Lionel have managed to do in keeping it going. But, unfortunately, it’s become much harder to listen to because Daniel, despite his humour, knowledge and passion, does not work as an anchor. I was a DNF in this Giro because the coverage was too long and actually did not tell me what was happening in the race. I would suggest that Daniel and Brian should have swapped places with Brian anchoring the show and asking Daniel the questions. Also when Rob Hatch is on he could be the host. Please keep the humour and the travelogue, and talk about food and wine, but please keep everything shorter and more concise (admittedly unlike this comment).
