“I'm loving this podcast series. First off, it's a great idea. Even if you traded tapes back in the day, soundchecks were a rarity. So how cool is it that @lawnmemo is covering every single one where audio exists. The band is generally much more loose and playful during soundchecks, so it's fun to hear that side of them. And Fishman talks a lot which is hilarious, that dude is a nut. Mostly I love it because it's making me revisit these old shows and there are always a few gems in there. The length of each episode is very manageable and I love the 'bonus track' idea where he throws in the most unique or cool jam from the show after playing the soundcheck. Lastly, the host is great. He gives good info / history / context for each show, doesn't rambling, and generally adds to the material. Keep it up! - @aburtch”Read full review »
