Big picture information is great, personal opinions not so much
I’ve just recently gotten into Stoicism thanks to The Obstacle is the Way and will plan on reading Ryan’s other books. This podcast has great information and is certainly great if you agree with his political views. I still plan on listening from time to time because, after all, the Stoics say you should listen to information that contradicts your beliefs. But this podcast seems hypocritical in that Ryan says he believes in listening to opposing opinions but takes advantage of taking seemingly every opportunity he can to slam those who believe differently than him. It feels very contradictory to listen to someone spout certain values in one sentence and then not act on those values in another. He’s completely entitled to his opinions of course, and again, if you agree with him, this will be an enjoyable podcast to you, but I’m thinking I’m better off getting most of my information from stoicism elsewhere moving forward from a source that doesn’t try to put me down.

Ryan and the team do an amazing job with every Stoic quote depicted from books and manage to lay it out in the easiest and understandable way for everyone to get. Highly appreciate it lads, thank you!
