“Been a long time listener, always enjoy Dave and his entertaining responses to the crazy calls he'd get. His financial advice always rationale and used common sense.
Lately, as you can tell by the numerous 1 star reviews, he's hit a chord with some of his audience that's been hard to digest. He's brought on several cohosts onto his show, which I have no real issues with. However, due to the nature of the set up and Dave's strong personality - they simply become a "yes man". The danger of this is the show now has become an echo chamber of his views. You can see this clearly during the covid and now the BLM/police brutality movement topics. Having two black cohosts, and then him self claiming "I'm not a racist", that was cringe-worthy.
That being said, as he's reminded us for decades - at the end of the day, this is his show and his views...and if we the listeners don't like it, we can leave. Always appreciated the advice and entertainment he's provided, but like many listeners - I'll have to gracefully bow out.”Read full review »
