Walking into the Army careers office aged just 14, Robin joined the Parachute Regiment, and enjoyed his position into the regimental shooting team before joining 2 Para in Northern Ireland. Robin undertook the arduous SAS Selection course in 1979, and joined B Squadron 22 SAS in in time to be a part of the Iranian Embassy Siege in 1980. Sent on a one-way mission to Argentina during the Falklands war, which was luckily averted at the 11th hour, Robin then left the regiment and became bodyguard to Dodi & Mohammed Al-Fayed. After leaving 'The Circuit' Robin launched Karate schools, and attended university to progress his creative writing skills, which he has put to good use with his series of books. Robin's LinkedIn updates on the Ukraine Invasion have risen to legendary status, attracting over 1 Million readers per week at its height.
