“Ok, I have a few notes. Lawyers should be involved. Demand a court order for testing the evidence - NOW. I’m pretty sure someone would take it for a lesser pay or even as a pro bono.
Also, genetic genealogy should be explored.
At first I was not happy that the main detective was sort of portrayed in a pretty bad light, but KNOWING from experience that not all cops are doing their job out of passion to serve and protect, I gave it a few episodes… only to find out how badly this investigation was handled.
Don’t let the dust set in, keep on going. I understand that the family “just” wants to know why… but I want justice, I want that monster in prison or on a death row!!!”
