Steph Trethewey, From City News Reporter To Rural Mum And Advocate
Listen now
Description
Steph Threthewey is a born and bred city girl from Sydney, she met her now husband while working for Channel 7 - she interviewed him about agriculture and the rest is history! She moved to rural Tasmania, but had no idea how challenging it would be and how lonely she would become, especially as a new mum, this inspired her to start Motherland Australia, Australia's first ever online rural mother group programme. Today she chats all about her journey. It's a story many will be able to relate to and it's really similar to what inspired Kate to start Kate Ivey Fitness and DediKate. Both living rurally, feeling isolated and longing for connection. Some super interesting conversations around guilt, motherhood, depression, social connection and more.
