“I really liked the first few episodes but as the show progresses it becomes more and more speculative, to the point of essentially being a fiction. It’s more like a dramatic campfire ghost story based on a real crime rather than a factual account of a tragic murder-suicide committed by a teenage boy. That’s not necessarily a bad thing if it’s what you’re looking to listen to, but shouldn’t be regarded as falling within the true crime genre.”
