“Enjoyed first few episodes grounded in reality. I even forgave the terrible music choices at the end of the episode jarring us out of the Mood.
Credence was stretched when they gave a lot of apocryphal tales of a 13th child etc.
However episode 8 is just a complete work of fiction as the narrator describes thoughts feelings and actions of a perpetrator that they obviously cannot assert. Ridiculous and unnecessary. Shame but the producers have fundamentally skewed the true crime premise.”

“It’s an interesting story and the narrator does a great job. But it is hardly “true crime”. It has a whole “maybe this is what happened” fictional overlay. Which makes for a great story! “The only thing that seems to be verifiable truth is the murder and suicide according to news reports online. Everything else I guess is just a fake story? Really irritating. If so that is terrible. Disrespectful to the remaining relatives and friends to sensationalize a tragedy such as this.”
