I found some of the guests on the podcast interesting, but I stopped listening when Dr. Chris Palmer shared his opinion on ADHD and Autism. Allowing a doctor who spreads misinformation and views these conditions as disorders or diseases is harmful to the neurodiversity community. Neurodiversity has always existed, and many of us have spent years masking our true selves. We are only just beginning to understand neurodiversity, and the numbers have always been there. We simply didn't comprehend it and instead labeled people as having a mental disorder. There are many books that explain this well, such as "Neurotribes," which I highly recommend. Doctors like Dr. Palmer make it challenging to embrace neurodiversity and perpetuate feelings of shame.Read full review »
