“Like Shandra84 I randomly stumbled upon this podcast. I'm a 90's kid so I have great fondness for the stories. For any Disney lover, or lover of the origins of revamped stories told today, this podcast is a must! I enjoy both those and history so this hits the trifecta. I'm glad the podcaster doesn't skimp too much on details just so he can time the podcast to be a certain length, but he also doesn't over-describe.
To pull this off you need to be careful in research, pacing, and presentation. He tap dances those lines, leaving you knowing more and feeling satisfied. Also.. He doesn't make excuses for things Disney may have portrayed inaccurately (as in the Pocahontas episode) but he doesn't overlook them. He reports and stays above the fray.
