“This is a disappointment for a lot of reasons. Above all, it would be nice to have an in-community reporter telling this story. Episode 2 is all about how the LGBT+ community couldn’t (and can’t) trust the police. No kidding? This is basically some straight guys wanting to be on the case of a topic they think will be the next Serial or S-Town, but instead is insulting to the victims and LGBT+ community. There are also lots of poor attempts at cliffhangers and it’s mostly product placement for other podcasts. Big skip on this one.”
