“I started reading the Wheel of Time series when it first came out, and stopped reading around book 5. This year I started re-reading the series after the Amazon Prime TV series came out, and was hooked until book 6. I was about to give up, and then found this podcast! The humor and chemistry of the hosts made it much more fun and easy to finish book 6, and now I’m almost done with book 7 and am excited for the next book in the series. I’m enjoying the podcast so much that I wish I’d found it at book 1! As a female fan, I really appreciate having Alice on the panel, and the hosts’ willingness to take on the problematic gender dynamics in the books is refreshing, while still clearly loving the series and displaying humor and genuine enjoyment of the fights and ins-and-outs of the wide array of characters.”
