Mostly good, with improvements needed
I typically really enjoy The Drop, and the chemistry between the hosts is pretty evident when they’re having casual conversation. They all obviously have a solid running background, put out some thorough shoe reviews, and host some cool events. With that said, I wish they would do some more background research and vet their guests before engaging in certain topics. For instance, the interview with Phil Maffetone preaches advice that flies in the face of any sort of balanced training approach and, more specifically, the recommendations from the Fuel for the Sole pod. There was absolutely no pushback or any critique on his (IMO) insane approach, which feels really out of touch to listeners. The hosts would be well-served by gathering more context on some other ideas or conversations they have (like, just getting basic names and places incorrect looks careless). I really do enjoy their take on the running tech and shoes coming out, and hope they can take this feedback to heart!

I enjoy the length of the episodes, perfect for a long run. The mix of chit chat at the beginning, shoe or race review, followed by an interview is awesome.
