The book club you always wanted to belong to
The Drunk Guys Book Club Podcast is a hilarious podcast about books and beer. Pretty much as their title sums up so well. Mike, Nate and Jimmy are incredibly fun to listen to with their wicked sense of humour, sharp wit and memorable pun jokes. Their unpretentious opinions on the books discussed are satisfyingly validating. Weighing in on anything from high literature to trashy popular fiction all while enjoying craft beers that they relate to the book in some hilariously contrived manner. Despite the libations and humour, their reviews hold many valid points. With voices that lend themselves very well to the format, their discussions are well paced and the general energy of the podcast is very addictive. A word to the wise: Subscribing to their Patreon opens up another world of fun content.

It takes a special podcast to come for an all time fave book but keep me laughing! Our podcasters manage to sum up a novel about the disillusionment of the Jazz Age with the sentence, “Everyone is trash and all dumb.” I love their descriptions of craft beers and new takes on classic books!
