“I was an AD&D player back in ye olde 1980s. Now my nephews are getting into the game, so it's time for me to have my Dungeon Master's cloak dry cleaned and hit the books to get up to speed on 5e. Thank goodness for this podcast - being a busy grownup-type player, I don't have endless time to pour over sourcebooks, but I do have time while driving around, doing errands, and such to listen to podcasts. Without the Dungeoncast, I'd never have been able to get rolling so quickly.
I really appreciate that not only does the show cover the rules, but they also keep the focus on what's really important: roleplaying, using your imagination, and having fun. That's a rare balance to find these days.
