It’s amazing how much information is not known to the masses. I’m not an Astros fan, but when I learned about Lunhnow and how the Astros were putting together their team. I was very intrigued. Some key points that make me say regardless of the cheating,They won the World Series fair and square Why no mention that the Astros Road record was actually better than the Home record Baseball fans forgot how games are won and lost. The Astros pitchers shut down the Dodgers and the Dodgers left so many people on base and didn’t score when they needed to. The Dodgers clearly changed all their signs and there is zero proof of any sign stealing during the world series Sorry, Kershaw got rocked in every postseason vs every team except in 2020 and the Rays were by far the worst offensive post season team in HISTORY. The Astros did better in 18 and 19 also they had Cole. Where’s the venom for the Red Sox. What? Cora goes to Boston, they Lead in every offensive category in and lead in every offensive category in 2018 and then all of a sudden in 2019 they don’t even make the playoffs that’s not questionable?? If you look at the website created by Tony Adams you can clearly see who took advantage of the trashcans and Marwin had his best season ever in 17. No one even mentions him, why? Most fans really don’t know much. This was a great podcast. Thanks Ben. And Astroball is satisfying because it talks about how the Astros totally changed baseball thru technology. Ofcourse minus the sign stealing Oh btw, be mad that Steinbrenner had a judge seal the Yankees investigation. No one will ever know how much they cheated over the years. Do your research

What a great recap on one of the black marks of baseball. Just as the steroid scandal is getting behind us along comes this. I hurt for those players who were damaged by the cheaters. Shame on everyone who knew and said nothing! Each episode told a story; each episode exposed more who cheated. I...Read full review »

A very good podcast. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was that the narrator went from telling the story to then doing and ad.

Well written, well produced, and so interesting and addictive. Whether an Astros fan or (more likely) not, this is a great podcast.
