I’ve always liked podcast but I could never find a sports one I really liked until I listen to this I like how much detail there and the interviews with players and coaches!

Heard about this show at 99% invisible but as a baseball fan I love the show

In depth analysis of the Astros and MLB’s sign stealing scandal. Great to hear the history and insight into what happened. I love how he seeks to tell the truth and doesn’t pull any punches yet gives Jeff Ludnow a voice to tell his story. Gives a much bigger picture of what was going on in MLB...Read full review »

I’ve read Moneyball and Astroball and I’m also a huge Astros fan. This enlightening me to the complete story and I highly recommend anyone who is curious about the 2017 Astros scandal to give all 6 episodes a listen.

Lots of incomplete biased information and ignores the fact many other teams were doing the same thing

I’m a huge Astros fan, I loved Ben’s unbiased approach to the 2017 Sign Stealing Scandal. He provides epic details and uncovers an enormous amount of facts. While at the same time, combining it all into an easy to follow, incredible audio documentary. It gave me much needed perspective on the...Read full review »

I have recommended this to all my friends & family who take any interest in the game of baseball. Knowing the background & the happenings since the cheating scandal provide context for how the trash can scheme ever came about…& what else may happen in the future. Well done, Mr. Reiter.

Wow
Great podcast from start to finish. Was amazed that such a well researched podcast about recent events could come out so soon but it became evident that the host’s close proximity to the team years earlier helped him to navigate this story with a head start. Might need to come up with a bonus...Read full review »

I grew up watching baseball but can’t say I’ve watched a game in a decade. This show is BRILLIANT. The story is really deftly told by an embedded journalist who doesn’t make too much of his own substantial role in the story. It looks at the organisational culture and personalities of the corrupt...Read full review »

Living in Houston I thought I was up on the scandal, it’s causes and the like. Once I started listening to this podcast, I couldn’t stop. So much great information, unbelievably well presented.

I really enjoyed this podcast. It was a bit dry in a few areas, but haha, it’s about baseball — it’s really interesting and very well put together. Still five stars!

I listened to the first episode and can’t wait to roll through the next episodes. I love sports podcasts that come from subject matter experts who aren’t afraid to admit mistakes but celebrate successes.

Wow! This was so well put together! Terrific! It felt more like a suspense movie playing out in each segment! To be clear... I am not a huge baseball fan, frankly I find it hard to watch yet I love to play. The personalities here are what drew me in the most and the life lessons that come...Read full review »

The host writes a book about the Astros subtitled “the new way to win it all.” His “incredible access” alleges to explain how the Astros went from cellar dweller to world champions in just a few years. The book sold well, the author gained a degree of fame and then it is revealed that the Astros...Read full review »

What a great recap on one of the black marks of baseball. Just as the steroid scandal is getting behind us along comes this. I hurt for those players who were damaged by the cheaters. Shame on everyone who knew and said nothing! Each episode told a story; each episode exposed more who cheated. I...Read full review »

This was one of the best podcasts that I have ever listened to. I went in hating the Astros, but in fact, came out of this angry at all of baseball operations. If you love baseball. This is a must listen !

One episode in and I am hooked. Well written & produced. Interviews and highlights included with the story telling brings me to a time of watching a “must watch” TV series where I would anticipate the next week’s episode with great desire. Can’t wait to finish the story.

An excellent series! Takes the core story of the Astros and uses it to explore the working world of baseball & the role money plays in it. Riveting listening, even if, like me, you’re not such a big baseball fan.

This is a fantastic podcast. It sheds a ton of light on the scandal, the characters involved, the history of sign-stealing and the repercussions of the scandal from various viewpoints. Ben does an excellent job not only bringing the facts to light but also uncovering the “why”.

One other person may have benefited from the cheating scandal. The ball player that replaced Mike Bolsinger when he was sent down to the minors. I wonder who that was and what became of his career. Mr Reiter, this was an excellent podcast. Thank you.
