“I stumbled upon Chris and Veronica’s podcast when I was Googling a very specific strategy during the sale of our first home, as the housing prices were still sliding in our suburb. We already had a Seller’s Advocate (our future Buyer’s Agent) helping us navigate the process, but I wanted to learn more about how to manage an incredibly stressful experience with a real estate agent who didn’t seem to want to be transparent with us. I devoured every episode and went from being very stressed to feeling totally on top of our decision-making. The incredible learning I received was like going to real estate boot camp. I started to understand motivations on all sides of the fence - buyer, seller, agent, auctioneer, advocate, bank manager, mortgage broker, and real estate marketer - and this allowed me to absorb and apply our Selling Advocate’s advice as I had contextual understanding and could refer to specific examples that I had learned from episodes. This podcast really helped us navigate the psychological trauma of selling and buying and allowed us to view our feelings and behaviour through an educated lens. I have recommended this podcast countless times to grateful friends and truly believe that you should not even think about starting a real estate journey without learning from these two brilliant minds through their podcast. They are ethical, caring practitioners who truly want us to succeed as amateur buyers and sellers in a very complex game.
