“Guys (and I do mean guys)… or Chris… love you all, love you Chris, love the banter, a genuine fan, but… there’s no need to mine for comedy at each and every step. Chris and James especially have the funny bones - we love that - but it’s also ok to just let a film synopsis and review go by without having to force in some comedy bants. We can hear Helen’s frustrations of just trying to get through said review/ overview without the comedic interjections. It can get just a little bit tooo much at times.
That said, I so appreciate the effing hard work that must go into this podcast, and the editing time and genuine commitment to entertain as well as inform. The runtime is so generous, it keeps me company on my long walks and commutes.
