Great investigative reporting
Such a thrilling piece of investigative and historical journalism! You can absolutely tell that the team put years into crafting this show. Martine is a great interviewer for a heartbreaking and sensitive subject and her empathy for the human experience shines through when talking with witnesses or sources. Shoutout to the other producers for helping to craft this narrative and participate in great journalism alongside Martine. A kudos to the rest of the team for the sheer amount of information compiled to make the case for the story- I can’t wait to visit the webpage with all of the reports and information! I can’t wait to listen to the next and possibly final episode.

More reviews of The Empty Grave of Comrade Bishop
The history, the journalism, the theme music, the host’s voice = one of the best pods I’ve heard

My colleagues worked on this and it is fantastic. It’s a fascinating story that is about so much more than one grave, one person and one country. Deeply reported, richly told, and — something that can be rare in news podcasts — there’s actual news!

What can I say, Martine is a great journalist, I enjoy following this path with her and learning about places not often considered. It could be improved in terms of audio production (see TAL or Serial season 1), but that is really a matter of taste.
