Horrifying, heartfelt and fascinating
I avoided listening to this podcast for a while because I thought it would be a depressing retelling of America messing about unnecessarily in its near-abroad — and it is! But it is also a heartfelt portrait of the events of a horrifying day as a revolution turned upon itself, about the people — both Granadians and foreigners — who were affected by that day and worked diligently to try to make sense of its consequences, and the effect that event had on the generations afterwards. Wonderfully told by Martine Powers, my favourite Washington Post podcaster.

Martine had me hooked within the first five minutes. Her easy story telling skills paired with her expressive tone and voice inflections creates a gripping soundtrack to this interesting story. Kudos to you and the team!

This such a compelling, informative and at times I dare say entertaining. This is the reason this medium was created.
