(S2 E6) Running from childhood abuse to destroying FKTs and races with Brenda Fortin
Listen now
Description
This week Jeff and Tammy had an awesome conversation with Brenda Fortin of western Massachusetts.  They were even joined by her husband, Rufus, for parts of the episode as they talked through so many different running and non-running areas of her life. They dove deep into her running as an escape growing up in a household of abuse, to running and playing different sports in school.  She found running again as an adult, and is now teacher and cross country coach.  She has destroyed countless FKTs in the northeast as well as a ton of races, some alone and some with Rufus.  She is an awesome person they just had a blast getting to know.  This really is a must listen for so many.  You can follow Brenda on Instagram: @bacon.running.
