Good but sound quality needs improving
These podcasts, whilst being a plug for English Heritage, are interesting although like much media these days are trying too hard to be politically correct. The thing that spoils them is the sound quality. Interviewees and guests always come across loud and clear and are easy to listen too. However the presenter is always quiet, muffled and indistinct. It’s not helped by the fact he has quite a low voice. It makes it hard to understand what he is saying, especially if I am listening in the car. I find myself turning up the volume to hear him, to be then deafened by the other contributors. I have heard this problem on podcasts before and they corrected it by adjusting the levels on each input properly.
