“I’ve tried several times to give this podcast another chance and it consistently falls flat. If you want to listen to a lot of out if touch ranting centered entirely on The Creek and The Valley- this one’s for you. The TAPS episode this year was so bad I had to just turn it off. Read the room. Your jokes about getting cancelled are immature and pointless. You’re not edgy- your out of touch. It’s really obvious you WILL ALWAYS center white male voices in climbing. Your interviews with Black climbers are poorly executed and the tone is just weird. The fact that you have to keep “promising to put more women” on the podcast says everything I need to know. No thanks. Honestly I’m bummed Sportiva even supports this trash. There are so many other people with interesting things to say- but I guess the loudest white male voices always rise to the top.
P.s. I’ll never forget when you opened the live show in the NRG at the classic and proceeded to insult everyone present with stereotypical WV jokes. Anyone with the gall to insult his hosts to their faces isn’t someone worth listening to.”
