Once a Good Show
(For context, I have listened to from the time Free Beer and Hot Wings aired in Nashville throughout his run there, watched all of his YouTube videos between jobs (which were honestly the best thing he's done post-FBHW), listened through the entire run on WBBL, and have listened to both the free and Patreon podcasts through today. I have no problem with any politcal affiliation or sponsors he has, and I am not angry because I sided with FBHW or Ben.) I don't know if anyone who does not know Eric Zane's past life could enjoy this show. I used to really like it, but lately it feels like something is different. The interviews are still good, but episodes without a guest have just become background noise. Maybe it's just that there are so many sponsors that episodes seem to be drawn out too long with no enough content just to get all the plugs in, then the Patreon seems a little forced just to say there is more content. Maybe it's the lack of a co-host to keep him on track. I'm just not sure. Putting the opinions aside, Eric largely talks about current events, commonly focused around Michigan. There is much interaction with the chat of the live audience, which might make you feel left out if you are listening later. If that sounds like your kind of podcast, you should subscribe right away.Read full review »

More reviews of The Eric Zane Show Podcast
I’ve been following Eric forever. At least 10-12 years now. He is hilarious, kind, down to earth, says it like it is, and a good hearted family man. I love his show and I’m also a Patreon member. I don’t miss an episode!

I'm so glad Zane is continuing his success in the podcasting world. I haven't listened to morning radio since he was fired from WBBL/Cumulus.Read full review »
