Reasons why I love this show…
1. It’s 100% evidence-based. 2. The guests are either experts in their fields who actively work within and study the science of health and diet, or regular people who have changed their lives for the better with WFPB eating. Anecdote is not presented as evidence, and the experts are open to all information as long as it’s backed by solid science. 3. Chuck is THE most steady, positive and affirming host, with a lived experience of reclaiming his health via WFPB eating. He’s dubbed “The Weight-Loss Champion” for a good reason, having lost literally hundreds of pounds and kept it off. As an Australian, I especially love it when he says “Daggone!” 4. It doesn’t try to sell you stuff. 5. It offers listeners a clear path to taking charge of our health without gimmicks or faddish thinking. It tells us there is freedom to be gained by rejecting the SAD diet that many of us have been raised eating, which will lead most of us to lifestyle diseases as we age. That’s why I keep listening, because it reminds me to get back on track if I stray into unhealthy eating. Thank you Chuck, Dr Barnard and PCRM for this lifesaving show. I continue to “raise my health IQ” with every listen!

First things first, I adore PCRM and binged this podcast when I discovered it mid last year. But it seems as if there’s a content drought and a string of celebrity interviews has left me longing for this podcast to return to its roots of evidence-based, practical tips for living a WFPB lifestyle...Read full review »
