This show is so helpful and relatable. It really helps me gain a new perspective on my kiddo who struggles with executive function.

I love listening to Sarah’s podcast! Her expertise is evident and evidence based. So many great ideas! So well organized and thoughtfully presented!! It’s cool how she talks to the parents/grown ups and the students. Very empowering for everyone.

I really like how well Sarah explains executive function and gives immediately practical tips in each episode. Also the little ‘messages to your child’ sections at the end are great. Even if your child doesn’t hear it, it’s helpful to hear how to do it modeled. Valuable podcast. I binge listened!

I don’t have a lot of time for long talks on theory(even if it’s really interesting and correct), I just need the “how to’s” and a short explanation on why/how the EF deficiency is creating the struggles to function effectively. I’ve only listened to one episode so far, but this podcast has already helped me to better understand my high school students. I highly recommend this for all educators and parents!

As a middle school teacher for almost a decade, I find such truth in the experiences Sarah describes. This podcast will be valuable to parents and students, but I was surprised to find how useful it struck me. Great tips and brain hacks for parents, students, and teachers alike.

So excited to continue listening and learning ways I can incorporate and teach these Executive functions to the kiddos I work with, as well as other young adults, like myself, who still struggle with adult-ing and knowing it will get better! So inspirational and insightful!

This podcast is well planned out. Sarah does a great job of first explaining what executive function is and provides great examples. She also gives strategies on how to address specific deficits. A portion of the podcast is also aimed directly at children who are struggling with some of the...Read full review »
