Johnny Depp has enormous power in that relationship.
He also has a publicity machine and many others around him highly invested in protecting him reputation again threats.
Amber Heard wrote one article anonymously.
For the record I do acknowledge that women can be abusers but on the balance of the facts it is reasonable to see Johnny Depp's attempts to silence his Ex as a continuation of controlling behaviour.
This is an unpopular point of view and it saddens me that it will be dismissed by many.
