My god, the sweatpants episode
The first two episodes of this show were really interesting. I thought it was a show about US History and the fraught nature of our Constitution. Then episode three happened ... just about sweatpants. Perhaps an episode that seemed to require skimming 3 Wikipedia articles to create was meant as a meta-commentary on a Nation that has totally given up trying? The sweatpants are symbolic? Either way, I’ll continue to listen but ... man, just an episode about sweatpants huh?

This podcast has both an interesting focus and excellent production. The mix of sounds, voices and music makes it much more than an informational experience.

Love host Julia Longoria. Smart and funny. Plus The Atlantic has been delivering great stuff for years. This is going to be GOOD!
