What Are Political Prisoners And Why Should We Care About Them?
Listen now
Description
Why can it seem problematic at first sight to even define the concept of 'political prisoner'? What can help to do so? And, most importantly, why should we care? In short, we should care about our political prisoners if we care about human rights and our humanity. In my episode, I talk about the broader implication of it, I give examples of political prisoners we've had historically, and the ones we have now. "But what to do with this knowledge?" is a good question to ask. To answer it, I point to two amazing organisations we can join forces with. Let's raise our voices. Because we're not imprisoned somewhere without hope. So we can be that hope for others.
