“This is the best podcast I’ve heard. Informative, very well paced and researched, and truly entertaining. I have been eagerly following this podcast for a couple of years now. It is incredibly well done. I can gladly put up with the somewhat overbearing bias against Spaniards constantly reflected on side jokes and comments regarding the gold-thirsty spirit of the conquistadors. I understand that these “cultural winks” are a way to create complicity when addressing people belonging to one’s own culture. However, I am a Spaniard myself, Ojeda was an ancestor of mine, and these are the reasons why I understand, but do not quite enjoy the tribal ganging up.”
