Enthricing!!!!!
What can I say about this show that hasn't been said already. Wait... The fans are failing to write a review for the failing writers. SHAME! Alas, I live in a glass house. I've been listening to this podcast for a few years now and this is my first review. All kidding aside, I was late arriving to the third season. Not sure what was going on, but I missed this season's start. That's got major disadvantages like missing most of their writing prompts and submission windows, and one pro; I've got to binge 14 episodes in about one week. Ah, discovered another con... now I have to wait to hear them for two weeks. I'm already beginning to have withdrawals. The show is addictive, so if you have an addictive personality, stop reading now. For those that are willing to roll the dice, I offer the following: These guys are simply great. In fact, they're utterly enthricing! Creative banter, humble with an element of self-deprecation that I find hilarious, inspiring through personal anecdotes and guest selections. They really have become the highlight of my morning and listening to their podcast has encouraged me to kick my own writing into high gear. If you're looking for a fun, enthricing, creative hour in your day, with the best songwriting on the old-world side of the pond, then hit pause on your other podcasts and enjoy Tom, Jon, and Dave (sometimes). You won't regret it. And if you do... well, I'm not sure we can be friends. Better watch out Rogan... The Failing Writers Podcast is creeping up on you buddy.Read full review »

I cleaned the whole house just so I’d have an excuse to listen. It’s like being in the pub with you three. Although I had to take my headphones out when Jon read his fingering poem... keep going, chaps!

Many people would be ready to dismiss my review, simply on the basis that I am actually in this podcast, but I can say completely with out bias that Apple need to change their rating system so that I am able to give this podcast the six stars it so throughly deserves. SIX STARS - A MUST LISTEN!!

This is the perfect podcast for anyone who’s ever felt like they have a book in them but also have the attention span of a fruit fly. The lads have great chemistry from the high brow Jon, Dave and the enthusiastic Tom and like all good mates they quickly devote into silliness within minutes. It’s...Read full review »
