I don't get the appeal
At first I was excited to find a podcast that seemed to give a more indepth analysis than others, and early on it seemed to be going that way. But as I sat there and listened to them complain that other podcasts waste time about non-fantasy related issues, I realized they were doing the same thing - and in a really unprofessional way. It's not worth wasting an hour and a half to find maybe 20 minutes of solid analysis, when I can get the same thing from Matthew Berry, and it's actually humorous and more informative. These guys even commented on it in the final podcast I put myself through, but made fun of it instead of using the criticism to improve the show; obviously I'm talking about the number of times they say "dude", which is an unbelievable large number. Maybe it's too picky to ask for a little professionalism on a podcast, but unless you want us to take this seriously and to gain some recognition, like Berry smartly has, both of you might want to work on speaking a little more intelligently.Read full review »
