This is a heavyweight, insightful podcast about the events leading to the Iraq War. It’s a great listen. Dimblebey adds gravitas to this investigation and the interviewees such as the CIA agent that I’m currently listening to in Ep 1 paint a picture more revealing than I’ve come across before. And Blair, Alistair Campbell and others are still to come….

This is important journalism. David Dimbleby’s voice is one that everyone should hear. So why have ridiculous distracting music playing over the sound of his voice? The music does nothing to add to the atmosphere of the otherwise excellent podcast - it just makes it more difficult to listen to.

Great to have what happened summarised with hindsight. It’s explained really well and I’ve surprised myself by being absolutely addicted. My only criticism is the ad which doesn’t work with the podcast at all, surely there are some which don’t make you leap for your phone to go forward a minute...Read full review »
