“But Season 2 was just awful, I couldn't endure more than 3 episodes. It went from incredibly well researched, incredibly well presented and incredibly fascinating - to the exact opposite. Essentially an attempt at glorifying a domestic terrorist. We should not be asked to sympathise with a...”Read full review »

“So far I am enjoying this series. I like the presentation. However, I hoped it would be made very clear that US policy during Iran-Iraq war was to equipt Iraq with the means to make chemical weapons, & to sanction their use so as to avoid an Iran win at all costs. The means to make those...”Read full review »

“Having lived in Portland since 1985, I’ve been witness to the unfolding political drama that has happened here since then. This podcast was eye-opening in many ways mostly because it’s the news that didn’t make ’the news’ and explains why law enforcement here is questionable”

“The show itself is produced very well. But I can’t wrap my head around the defund the police/ we want the police to solve this rhetoric. Witnesses at the scene are saying they’ll NEVER testify. Of course the system needs a complete overhaul, but in the terms and mode of this case/podcast, very...”Read full review »

“I think this podcast was well done and told a perspective that I didn’t have much insight to. However I do not understand the view of wanting some justice but then saying they would never help the police? Police need witnesses and information to solve cases. I can’t wrap my head around those...”Read full review »

“The good is, this is well presented. Sergio is clear and does well presenting the story. The content is questionable. Very biased, from one extreme view in most cases, while criticizing the other extreme view. I had hoped there would be more balance. There are no likable people in this story....”Read full review »

“Series one was excellent! Serious two was not a good listen, utter drivel at times. People who were very principled at others expense. Mind that seems to be the only link between the series.!”

“The episodes about Portland give a point of view but has little objectivity. If the presenter is some kind of journalist he lacks depth and critical thinking and not sure I’m hearing anything that useful.”

“Compelling but on the whole, I find this coverage unbalanced. There’s plenty of problems at both extremes and the amount of damage done to downtown Portland during the 2020 protests was glossed over.
Also, some of the background music is quite intrusive.”

“The first series was presented by David Dimbleby, the doyen of news anchors, and boasted interviews with ministers, generals and decision-makers. “Lays the sociopathy of the US neocons and the hubris of Tony Blair bare for all to see. A major contributor to the decline in trust for politicians and the media in the West over the last twenty years, and of course the chaos and death that rippled out across the middle east and the world.”
