Listen now
Description
So your hot flashes are back? Hot flashes often occur in perimenopause & menopause, but there are other hormonal shifts that can produce them as well. Your body detects a change and release the mechanism to feel hot and start sweating. This temperature regulation issue means that your body is struggling to process hormones, mainly the liver & digestive system. Many women even have night sweats/hot flashes before their period starts! Although hot flashes are not necessarily bad, they are uncomfortable and signal that there is work to be done in the body. In this episode, I dive into why we have hot flashes and what it means if they go away and come back again!  Learn more about the 1 to 1 program here: https://drbethwestie.com/jumpstart-program/
