“UPDATE: DIRECT post about MLMs on the instagram. Unfollowing. What a sad way to build a platform. Judging the way other provide an income for their family. Disappointed is an understatement since I’ve recommended this podcast and brand to countless friends.
I love this podcast and I am a weekly listener; have been since the beginning. I recognize that this is the financial confessions and not the financial advice podcast, but I am very disappointed in some of the messaging lately. As someone who loves the Instagram page of this podcast as well, I find a lot of helpful tips. However, to have half an episode comparing MLMs to crime and gangs is absolutely ridiculous and offensive, especially when I can guarantee that a good portion of your followers use MLMs as hope to increase their income, or simply have a different work from home situation, and have great success in it. I will give it another try next week, but I’m furious after listening to you and your guest cackle about a topic that pertains to your viewership is just embarrassing. AND TRUST ME, I am not someone who gets offended, but this episode is just plain rude.”

“I have been greatly enjoying the “Too Good To Be True” series. Though I also love the regular Financial Confessions, I think that in future, if more episodes with Ryan and Julia are planned, having these as their own TFD-affiliated standalone would be awesome!”
