Description
Episode 11 is a virtual interview with Whitney Stuart, a Dallas-based dietitian-nutritionist and certified diabetic educator. She’s very involved in the fitness scene and we happened to go to SMU together, so she was a natural choice to chat with about all things nutrition. Whitney covers several topics, but we hone in on what it’s actually like to sit down with a dietitian-nutritionist, what people come to her for and how she works with them as well as typical goals and outcomes. We also touch on coronavirus (because how can you not right now?) and what you can do to support your immune system now and forevermore. She also talks about how to keep that sweet tooth at bay and what she really thinks about trendy diets like keto and intermittent fasting. All about Whitney: Whitney is a nutrition expert. She holds a Masters in Clinical Nutrition from UTSW, with a supporting undergraduate in pre-med & physiology from SMU where she was awarded department Woman of the Year. Her practice & social brand, Whitness Nutrition, educates the masses of real-food rooted nutrition with an emphasis on balance, grace & evidence-based facts. She is also the dietitian and diabetic educator of the largest endocrinology clinic in Dallas where she works strategically with Type 1, 2, and gestational diabetes on medication regimens and lifestyles that aim to reduce the burden of disease.
