Description
Episode 17 is an interview with Rachael Phillips, the founder and owner of GOGA & Yoga in Austin, Texas. She’s a California girl who moved to Austin blindly, became an Uber driver, then worked at Home Away, and then naturally opened a goat yoga business. I mean, who doesn’t!? She tells us quite a few crazy stories that you won’t want to miss hearing—the first one is all about her professional experience and how she entered the world of goat yoga. Scrappy and bold are two words I’d use to describe her and her adventure in starting her own fitness business involving farm animals. She embodies the “jumping off the cliff and figuring things out” mentality 100%. Rachael and her now husband and mother-in-law run the business together, and she tell us all about her experience of being on Shark Tank last year. A few mishaps happened (you’ll have to listen to find out!) but ultimately, they learned a lot. Tune into this episode and if you enjoy it, please share it! All about Rachael: Rachael is the founder of GOGA & Yoga, a goat yoga and regular yoga studio based in Austin, Texas. Her professional experience is in digital advertising, internet marketing, and product marketing. Rachael is an animal lover and a firm believer in holistic health and she personally thinks that almost anything can be healed through laughter, a positive attitude, an active lifestyle, animals/nature, and meditation. GOGA is the perfect combination of these things. Her “WHY” is seeing the authentic joy and happiness on GOGA attendees’ faces class after class.
