Great guests who outshine the host.
If you like The Flash mythos then this is a decent podcast. The host, Andy Behbakht, has some pretty awesome guests on the show who have a ton of information regarding the various Flash mythos. This is unfortunately the ONLY reason I continue to listen to this podcast. The special guests, actually all of his guests, seem to outshine the host himself. Now I am no podcast professional but it's definitely evident. I will give it to Andy who has enthusiasm for the show and for The Flash himself but it is as if the host really brings no insightfulness or knowledge to this podcast pertaining to The Flash. All we seem to hear from him is how much he thanks his special guests (a little too much that it seems unnecessary) and then his personal feelings regarding topics that are not necessarily associated with either The Flash or the upcoming TV show. It is his podcast and you the host can do whatever he would like to do but he seems to really REALLY push his opinion on things that I just would rather him not say anything and have his guest fill the air. The other issue with this host his how he talks too fast (ironic) that he seems to fumble many words. It’s like he has too many thoughts going on in his head and trying to get them all out that it unfortunately comes out jumbled. If he were to slow down way more I believe this would help him. The one thing that REALLY was bothersome was his inability to pronounce VIBE correctly. He always pronounced the “V” as a “W” so it sounded like he was saying WIBE. If you are the host of a podcast, please, PLEASE, take some time to make sure you get proper names pronounced correctly, especially when it pertains to the actual podcast you are hosting. It just comes across to the listener as half-done and as if the host could not care to take those extra few minutes to learn the correct pronunciation. I could continue on other things but I believe this is enough to give listeners advice. If you can withstand the host between the guests, then this is an OK podcast. Unfortunately if the host ever has no guest on I don’t believe the podcast episode would be worth listening to. For you Andy, take this as constructive criticism and not berating you. I’m still listening, just maybe try some new things.Read full review »

I love the flash tv show, but I can't get through the first 5 minutes of this podcast due to the way the host speaks. I think it's an accent, but it's pretty tough to listen to him struggle with saying simple words.Read full review »
