Whilst on the Spanish side of the ledger, Luís Figo recently signalled the beginning of the Galáticos era by moving to Real as the world’s most expensive player. He was backed up by a team that included Guti, Raúl and Steve McManaman and was manager by legendary coach Vicente del Bosque.
